Our Teachers Make the Difference

The staff at DELC consists of highly qualified early year educators that are dedicated year after year to bringing a wealth of experience and understanding to the needs of our young students and their families. Our current staff of 11 brings over 75 years of combined experience in the Early Childhood field and are all Early Childhood Teacher qualified or Early Childhood Assistant/Aide Teacher qualified. The majority of our staff is Large Child Care Center Director qualified.

All staff is CPR/First Aid certified, background checked and fingerprinted, and have taken all Colorado licensing requirements for Standard Precautions, Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Maltreatment, Abusive Head Trauma, and Building Premises Safety Training. Our staff is also currently participating in Conscious Discipline (www.consciousdiscipline.com), training, a trauma-informed, research-based social-emotional program. All staff maintains 15 hours of professional development per year.
